The Roger Williams University baseball team defeated Mass Maritime Academy, 11-3, Sunday, to win the ECAC Division III New England Championship.

A spectacular six innings in relief by David Hike (Riverview FL) held Wentworth Institute of Technology scoreless leading the Massachusetts Maritime Academy Buccaneers in a 6-4 victory in the first round of the ECAC Division III New England Baseball Tournament.
Bucs receive MASCAC All-Conference Honors

Four players from the Massachusetts Maritime Academy baseball team were selected to the Massachusetts State College Athletic Association 2008 All-Conference team. In addition, Buccaneers Head Coach Bob Corradi received MASCAC Coach of the Year Honors.
MMA selected to play in ECAC Baseball Tournament

Massachusetts Maritime Academy (21-13) was selected as the #3 seed in the 2008 ECAC Baseball Tournament and will face #2 seed Wentworth Institute of Technology in the first round at 4:00 PM on Friday, May 9,at Roger Williams University in Bristol, R.I. It will be the first post-season appearance for the Bucs since 1996.
