Walter Butler was a presence felt on the field. The Bourne native was a captain his senior year in 2011. In 2011, he was awarded the NEFC Defensive Player of The Year. Walter also earned New England Football Writers Division II-III All-Star Team. Captain senior year, 2011 NEFC Defensive Player of The Year Award, had 195 career tackles (145 solo), 11.5 sacks, 11 QB hurries, 7 forced fumbles, five blocked kicks, 2011 New England Football Writers Division II-III All-Star Team, 2011 two time NEFC player of the week, 2011 D3Football.com and Third Team All Region.
