Maritime Women Run UMass Dartmouth Invite
DARTMOUTH, Mass. - Senior Emily Bryson's winning time of 17:54.59 propelled Brandeis to the team title at the 46th Annual UMass Dartmouth Women's Cross Country Invitational that took place on the Robert Dowd Course Saturday afternoon, as the Judges topped runner-up Trinity and third place Merrimack in the event.
Massachusetts Maritime finished 37th in the field of 45 teams led by Megan Hamilton (Weymouth, Mass./Weymouth) who posted a time of 21:39.16 over the 5K course. Lily Hakkarainen (Chesterfield, N.H./Hampshire Regional) was a step behind at 21:45.62. Sarah Smialek (Dartmouth, Mass./Dartmouth) ran 22:23.31, Camryn Boyce (Whitman, mass./Whitman-Hanson) posted a time of 22:59.18 and Victoria Flausino (Philadelphia, PA./Franklin Towne Charter) came in at 24:02.95) Jill Either (Portsmouth, R.I./Portsmouth) ran a time of 25:52.14 and Heather Seggelin (Sharon, Mass./Sharon) crossed the line in 26:18.17).
