WESTFIELD, Mass.-- Sophomore Lauren Sena (Whatley, Mass.) notched four kills and four digs to lead Westfield State to a 3-0 Massachusetts State College Athletic Conference volleyball victory over Massachusetts Maritime by game scores of 25-4, 25-3 and 25-9 in a league match played Tuesday evening at the Woodward Center.

Freshman Kerin DeGirolamo (North Attleboro, Mass.) added 10 set assists for the host Owls (7-9, 3-0 MASCAC), who also received seven service aces and a pair of blocks from senior Ashley Conway (Dracut, Mass.).

Sophomore Victoria Presutti (Marshfield, Mass.) registered a pair of kills in the setback for the visiting Buccaneers (0-8, 0-5 MASCAC), who also received two kills and an ace from freshman Samantha Foley (Forestdale, Mass.) as well as three set assists from sophomore Allison Condino (Fitchburg, Mass.).

Massachusetts Maritime heads to Framingham, Mass. on Thursday evening for a MASCAC outing with Framingham State that begins at 6:00 p.m., while Westfield State will take on host Springfield in opening round of the Springfield Invitational on Friday evening beginning at 5:00 p.m. in Springfield, Mass.
