FARMINGTON, Maine-- The Massachusetts Maritime volleyball team completed a weekend tri-match on Saturday afternoon by dropping a pair of 3-0 non-league decisions to Worcester State and Maine-Farmington in contests played at UMF Gymnasium.
Sophomore Victoria Presutti (Marshfield, Mass.) registered six kills and two digs on the day for the Buccaneers (0-12), who fell to the Lancers (14-5) in the opener by scores of identical 25-6 scores, while freshman Samantha Foley (Forestdale, Mass.) added five kills and three service aces. Sophomore Allison Condino (Fitchburg, Mass.) added three kills and nine set assists for Massachusetts Maritime, which dropped a 25-6, 25-11 and 25-15 decision to the host Beavers (4-7) in the nightcap.
The Buccaneers will be idle until next Saturday afternoon when Massachusetts Maritime travels to New London, Conn. to take on Mitchell and MCLA in a non-league tri-match that begins at Noon.
