BOSTON, Mass.-- Junior Kelsey Armstrong-Hahn (Corvallis, Ore.) recorded 24 service aces to lead Suffolk to a 3-0 non-league college volleyball victory over Massachusetts Maritime Thursday evening at Regan Gymnasium by game scores of 25-7, 25-4 and 25-8.

Freshman Caitlan Blanchard (Stratham, N.H.) added 10 service aces in the triumph for the host Rams (2-1), who also received nine service aces and eight set assists from sophomore Julie Sullivan (Haverhill, Mass.) as well as five kills from freshman Melissa Griffin (Byfield, Mass.).

Freshman Libby Buck (South Chatham, Mass.) registered three digs, two kills and a service ace in the setback for the visiting Buccaneers (0-1) in their season opener and first varsity contest in two seasons, while fellow freshmen Courtney Murray (Marshfield, Mass.) and Samantha Foley (Forestdale, Mass.) also collected three digs each.

Massachusetts Maritime hosts Worcester State in a MASCAC outing on Saturday afternoon at Alumni Gymnasium beginning at 1:00 p.m., while Suffolk opens Great Northeast play on Saturday afternoon by heading to New Haven, Conn. to take on Albertus Magnus at 1:00 p.m.
