Women's Soccer Set For Sweet 16-Match Schedule In Cabral's Fourth Campaign

The 2013 Massachusetts Maritime women’s soccer season was the most successful campaign in the program’s six-year varsity history, and Head Coach Ray Cabral is looking for that success to continue this fall as he welcomes back a veteran squad set to take on a 16-match schedule during his fourth season on the Buccaneer bench.

Cabral, who claimed its 100th career collegiate women’s victory last October, will see his crew begin its 2014 journey on Wednesday, September 3rd when Massachusetts Maritime heads to Leicester, Mass. to take on Becker in a non-league outing that begins at 4:00 p.m. EDT.  The Buccaneers open their home slate on Thursday, September 11th by hosting Anna Maria at Clean Harbors Stadium for a 7:00 p.m. EDT clash, as Cabral’s squad will also welcome Coast Guard, Wheelock and Bay Path to the Cape along with MASCAC foes Westfield State, Worcester State and Framingham State.

Massachusetts Maritime will play a total of nine road matches this fall, as the Buccaneers will also visit Pine Manor, SUNY-Maritime, Fisher and Curry in non-league action while also heading to Salem State, Fitchburg State, Bridgewater State and MCLA in league play.
