Freshman Angela Lozano (Laguna Beach, Calif.) took a Shelton feed 2:04 after intermission to stake the visitors to a 3-0 advantage, and senior Mary Morgan (Little Silver, N.J.) closed out the Bears' scoring with 21 seconds to play on a pass from freshman Jen Kerns (Unionville, Conn.).

Mills made both of her stops in the second half of action to garner in the win in net for Coast Guard, while freshman Colleen Fissette (Dracut, Mass.) made 16 saves in her first collegiate start in goal for the host Buccaneers (1-3) as the Bears outshot Massachusetts Maritime by a 27-4 margin for the contest.
