Outdoor Track & Field Looks To Make Great Strides In 2017 As Lohse's Squad Prepares For Eight Event Schedule

The Massachusetts Maritime outdoor track & field team has made great strides with record-setting performances against some of the toughest competition the region has to offer over recent years, and Head Coach Cathy Lohse looks to keep that trend going in 2017 as the Buccaneers prepare for a rigorous eight-event schedule this spring.

Lohse’s crew begins the new year on Saturday, March 25th when Massachusetts Maritime heads up the Cranberry Highway to compete at the Bridgewater State Bears Invitational, and the Buccaneers then head into a busy April stretch with events at UMass Dartmouth, American International, Connecticut College, Eastern Connecticut and Tufts before closing the month at the MASCAC/New England Alliance Championships on Saturday, April 29th at Westfield State.  Lohse’s squad will visit Western Massachusetts once again on Saturday, May 6th for the New England Division III Championships hosted by Williams College.
