Outdoor Track & Field Looks To Continue Success With Six-Event Regular Season Slate This Spring

The Massachusetts Maritime outdoor track & field program has grown and developed into one of the more competitive programs in the region, and Head Coach Cathy Lohse looks to continue that trend during a 2016 season that will see her Buccaneers participate in five regular season events as well as the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference Championships.

Lohse’s squad begins the new campaign on Saturday, March 26th when Massachusetts Maritime heads up the Cranberry Highway to participate in the Bridgewater State Bears Invitational beginning at 10:00 a.m. EDT.  The Buccaneers will also compete in regular season events at UMass Dartmouth, Connecticut College, Eastern Connecticut and Tufts before heading to Rhode Island College for the MASCAC/New England Alliance Championships on Saturday, April 30th, and Lohse’s crew will also look to compete in post-season action at the New England Division III Championships, the New England Open Championships and the ECAC Division III Championships in May.
