MASCAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships Postponed, Rescheduled For Sunday

The impending inclement weather has forced several changes in this weekend’s Massachusetts Maritime spring sports schedule involving action for the baseball, softball and outdoor track & field teams.

Saturday’s scheduled baseball and softball doubleheaders at Framingham State have been postponed.  The baseball twinbill will now be played on Sunday, April 27^th and has been moved to Commodore Hendy Field beginning at 1:00 p.m. EDT, as Framingham State will be the home team in both games.  The softball doubleheader has been re-scheduled for Monday, April 28^th at Framingham State beginning at 4:00 p.m. EDT.

The 2014 Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference Outdoor Track & Field championships that were to take place on Saturday have been postponed and re-scheduled for Sunday, April 27^th.  The first events will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday morning at UMass Dartmouth.

Saturday’s home women’s lacrosse match with Westfield State at 1:00 p.m. EDT and away men’s lacrosse contest at MIT beginning at 11:00 a.m. EDT will still be played as scheduled.
