WESTFIELD, Mass.-- Three individuals recorded top six finishes for the Massachusetts Maritime outdoor track & field squads at the 2009 Massachusetts State College Athletic Conference Championships Saturday afternoon on Westfield State's Jerry Gravel Track.
Sophomore Rory O'Donnell (Somerset, Mass.) placed third in the men's triple jump for the Buccaneers with a mark of 13.07 meters, while fellow sophomore Brian Reske (Duxbury, Mass.) finished fifth in the 1,500 meters, posting a time of 4:20.27 in the event.
On the women's side, sophomore Meredith Hall (Duxbury, Mass.) scored in the javelin for Massachusetts Maritime, as she finished sixth overall with a mark of 29.22 meters.
Both O'Donnell and Hall will represent the Buccaneers at next weekend's New England Division III Championships, which will be hosted by Springfield next Saturday morning beginning at 10:00 a.m.
