Sailing Squads Look To Keep Fall Momentum Going In Tackling Challenging Spring Schedules

The Massachusetts Maritime dinghy and offshore sailing teams look to keep the momentum of another highly successful fall campaign going during their respective 2015 spring schedules, as Director of Sailing Chuck Fontaine is set to have the Buccaneers embark on another challenging slate of competition.

 

Massachusetts Maritime begins the spring portion of the 2014-15 season by heading out to Los Angeles during the weekend of March 6-8 for the prestigious Cal Maritime Harbor Cup, and the Buccaneers will host the first of three events to take place at the Keith Hartford Sailing Center with the Central Series One Regatta on Saturday, March 21st beginning at 9:30 a.m.  Fontaine’s squad will also host the Great Herring Pond Open over Easter weekend (April 4-5) as well as the Admiral Alymer’s Trophy during the following weekend of April 11-12, and Massachusetts Maritime will also compete in events at Coast Guard, Providence, New Hampshire, MIT, Rhode Island and Sacred Heart during the spring.
