Brandeis Sinks Buccaneers in Waltham

WALTHAM, Mass – Tuesday afternoon the Buccaneers travelled to Brandeis University in Waltham, Mass for a non-conference game against the Judges. Brandeis opened the scoring 32 seconds in the match and continued their scoring ways throughout the 90 minutes. Brandeis would add three more goals in the first half and four more in the second to take the 8-0 win over Maritime.

The Bucs were only able to muster five shots in the game, two of which, by Adam Crawford (Rockland, Mass) and Brady Lemmon (California, Maryland), were on target. In the game, goalie Kevin Lynch (Dedham, Mass), in his first start of the season, made three saves and allowed four goals in 45 minutes on the field.

Brandeis had six different goal scorers with Jake Warren and Bryant Nardizzi scoring two apiece; Warren scored his first 32 seconds in to the game. The Judges played three goalies in net over the 90 minutes, Noah Cohen started and played 60 minutes, facing and saving one shot. Max Blacker made a save as well in relief.

With the loss, the Buccaneers fall to 1-4-1 on the season. Next up for MMA is a trip to Salem State University on Saturday for a 1pm kick off with the Vikings.
