Benjamin Paine selected to the Men’s Soccer All-Conference Second Team for the 2017-2018 season.

The Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC), the nation's first Division III men's and women's playing conference, has released the Men's Soccer All-Conference Teams for the fall 2017 season.  Massachusetts Maritime Academy is proud to share that Benjamin Paine has been selected to the Men's Soccer All-Conference Second Team for the 2017-2018 season.

In his premiere season with the Buccaneers, freshman defender Ben Paine (Dartmouth, MA) wore the number 14.  Paine, the son of Frederick and Jennifer Paine, was Old Colony League Player of the Year at Dartmouth High as a senior, where he was also named as the New Bedford Standard Times Player of the Year, Eastern Massachusetts and All-State All-Star and earned a spot on Boston Herald all-scholastic squad.  Paine was three-time Old Colony League All-Star for the Indians and a two-time Standard Times All-Star selection.  He was also named Dartmouth's Best Student-Athlete in the Class of 2017.  Paine is a Marine Engineering major.
