McCord, a native of Norwell, Mass. and a graduate of Norwell High School, led Head Coach Greg Perry’s Buccaneers in scoring for the second time in his career this season with six goals and seven assists for 19 points, including a two-goal outburst in a 3-1 win over Newbury on October 5th and a four-point performance in a 4-3 double overtime victory over UMass Boston on October 27th.  McCord added a pair of markers in league play and earned a pair of spots on the MASCAC weekly honor roll during the fall to go with a pair of league Player of the Week selections during the course of his career.

Fischer, a native of Marshfield, Mass. and a graduate of Marshfield High School, appeared in all 18 matches for Massachusetts Maritime this season, netting a pair of goals and two assists for six points along the way, including a game-winning helper in a 2-0 victory at Tufts on September 21st.  Fischer led the Buccaneers in scoring as a sophomore with six goals and three assists for 15 points, as three of his six tallies in 2009 were game-winners.

Massachusetts Maritime matched its win total of the 2009 campaign with seven overall victories this fall in Perry’s 18th season at the helm, as the Buccaneers were 3-1-1 down the stretch, including the program’s first victory over Bridgewater State in 19 years back on October 23rd and a 1-1 double overtime draw with eventual MASCAC tournament champion Salem State in the season finale on October 29th.
