NORTH ADAMS, Mass.-- Freshman Liroy Ozinci (Plainview, N.Y.) netted a pair of goals to lead MCLA to a 3-0 Massachusetts State College Athletic Conference men's soccer victory over Massachusetts Maritime Saturday afternoon at Shewcraft Field.

Ozinci gave the host Trailblazers (5-6-1, 2-1-1 MASCAC) the only goal they would need in the 33rd minute of play on a feed from senior Gianfranco Bravo (Great Barrington, Mass.), and he added an unassisted insurance marker in the 78th minute. The hosts closed out their scoring with 2:50 remaining in the match with an own goal on a misplayed ball.

Sophomore Adam Tarsa (Adams, Mass.) picked up the win in goal for MCLA by making one save on the day, while senior Tim Meighan (East Bridgewater, Mass.) made nine stops in 78 minutes of action for the visiting Buccaneers (3-9-1, 0-4 MASCAC) as the Trailblazers held a 27-4 advantage in shots for the contest.

Massachusetts Maritime travels to Quincy, Mass. on Tuesday afternoon to take on Eastern Nazarene in a non-league outing that begins at 3:00 p.m., while MCLA hosts Lyndon State in a non-league match on Wednesday afternoon at Shewcraft Field beginning at 3:30 p.m.
