BUZZARDS BAY, Mass.-- Sophomore Jason Silva's (Milford, Mass.) goal 3:44 into the second half lifted Framingham State to a 1-0 Massachusetts State College Athletic Conference men's soccer victory over Massachusetts Maritime Sunday afternoon at Commander Ellis Field.

Silva converted a feed from senior Karol Tegha (Lynn, Mass.) and knocked in the lone marker from 15 yards out for the visiting Rams (6-1-1, 1-0-1 MASCAC), and sophomore Greg Halle (Beverly, Mass.) made that stand up in goal with a seven-save effort, including a point blank stop in the final minute of the contest from 10 yards out.

Freshman Corey Cameron (Westfield, Mass.) made five stops in net in the setback for the host Buccaneers (2-7, 0-2 MASCAC) as Massachusetts Maritime outshot Framingham State by a 13-11 margin for the contest.
