QUINCY, Mass.-- Freshman Corey Cameron (Westfield, Mass.) and senior Tim Meighan (East Bridgewater, Mass.) combined for four saves in goal as Massachusetts Maritime and Eastern Nazarene battled to a scoreless double overtime tie in a non-league college men's soccer match played Tuesday afternoon at Bradley Field.
Freshman Chris Cherry (Brockton, Mass.) made nine saves in the shutout draw for the host Crusaders (1-11-2), who held a 15-12 advantage in shots for the contest, including a 13-11 edge in regulation and both chances in the first overtime period. Cameron made all three of his stops over the final 65 minutes of play for the visiting Buccaneers (3-9-2), who had the lone shot of the second extra session, after Meighan made his save in the opening half of action.
