Bio
Steve Crowley still ranks among the Academy’s career rushing leaders during a memorable career on the gridiron for fellow Massachusetts Maritime Hall of Famer Don Ruggeri, including the single-game mark for highest average gain per play (9.2 yards) in a 22-21 Admiral’s Cup victory at Maine Maritime on November 2, 1985. A resident of Duxbury, Crowley shares the Buccaneer single-game rushing touchdown mark with four visits to the end zone against Western Connecticut on October 23, 1982, and the all-New England Football Conference performer ranks fifth in career rushing yards (2,162) and sixth in career all-purpose yards (2,783).
