Bio

Ryan Woodland is the all-time leading rusher in MMA history with 3,385 yards in his four-year career. He holds the record for career rushing attempts (717) and all-purpose attempts (756 as well as the single-game mark for a freshman (191) and single-season record for a freshman (726). His 95-yard run against Framingham State in 1998 is the second-longest run from scrimmage in MMA history. Ryan was named to the NEFC all-Conference team in 1997 and 1998 and received the Hal Chalmers Award as the outstanding scholar-athlete in the Conference in 1998. He was voted the Howard C. Smith Award winner in his senior season as the outstanding scholar-athlete in the Massachusetts State College Athletic Conference.
