BUZZARDS BAY, Mass -- Following the completion of the 2019 Spring athletics season at Massachusetts Maritime, work began at Clean Harbors Stadium to replace the current playing surface. The surface in place had been there since 2008 and was in need of a replacement and a new midfield logo. 

The game field, which is used by our football, men's soccer, women's soccer, men's lacrosse and women's lacrosse teams, as well as our rugby club team and various other clubs on campus will be under construction for the majority of May with an anticipated completion date sometime in late May or early June. 

This is just one of a few projects taking place regarding our athletic facilities this Summer. Softball's Alison Rollins Field is also receiving a facelift which will be documented in the days and weeks to come. But, in terms of Clean Harbors Stadium, the facility has already received an upgrade to it's sound system as well as it's video system which broadcasts sporting events as well as other MMA events on, including Change of Command.

Due to the construction, Change of Command will take place on the parade field, outside of the mess deck.
